Crazy Tao - Beginner's Manual

If you are a beginner, first you have to choose a profession that is most suitable for you.

One account can only have one character in one server. If you want to play more roles you need to register more accounts. After selecting one kind of the four characters, you need to choose a class. There are two kinds of classes: warrior and mage. Warriors are adept at defence and melee attacks while mages are more adept at maged attacks.

To Find a Good Mentor

The mentor system of "Crazy Tao" is a great innovation to the traditional leveling pattern in online games (where the only way to level is to kill monsters). It is recommended that new players find a mentor so that they can level as quickly as possible. Every beginner can go to visit Hugo (LilyPlain 675,692) to check the information of mentors online and select one. After having a mentor, you can get more experience in combat and even more if you and your mentor are on the same team. Besides, every mentor will "prepare rich gifts" for their apprentice to be. A Perfect Beginning

After you create your character and login, you can click the third button in the tool box to open the pet interface. Pets in "Crazy Tao" is the second most important character, so don't misunderstand it with pets in other games. The growth of pets will run through the whole process of your game. Every beginner will get two hatched eggs in his hatcher. Click the eggs and you can see them in the pet list. Summon your pet by clicking the button of "Sum".

The main functions in "Crazy Tao" can be performed by the toolbox at the bottom of the screen. There are two hotkey panels in the tool box. The left panel is for potions and scrolls (1-5 on your keyboard). The right panel is for skills (F1-F7) and the slot next to F7 corresponds to the right key of your mouse. If you are a mage, open the spell interface and drag "WindBeads" to it. Now every time you learn a new spell, you can drag the one you feel is most handy to this slot. 2.Glorious Upleveling

Combat System

The combat mode of "Crazy Tao" is very simple, everyone that is familiar with ARPG can start it very soon. For the convenience of choosing upleveling monsters, the color of monster's name is changeable with your level. There are altogether four colors for the name of monsters, green, white, red, black. Green name is for monsters whose level is 3 or more lower than you. Experience from killing these monsters will be decreased by proportion, so they are completely unsuitable for uplevelng. White name is for those whose level is lower than you, but less than 3 levels. If you don't converge with pets, or your equipment is poor, connecting speed is slow, it's safer to kill these monsters out of XP time. Red name is for those whose level is 5 or less higher than you. You can get more experience by killing redname monsters. If you are confident enough, you can kill them to uplevel and you can even kill them in a second in XP time. Black name is for those whose level is 5 or more than you. If you are not in the XP time, we recommend you to get off them. You can click the button beside the minimap in the upper right corner to zoom in and zoom out or to check the full map. There are all kinds of marks on the minimap. White skeleton is your enemy, violet shield is the captain of your team, violet ball is your team member, green is NPC, yellow star is your friends, and yellow dot is waypoint.

Team leveling is more efficient than leveling alone. A team can have five members at most. Click on the team button to bring up the team interface, then click "Create Team" to create a team. Click "Auto Invite", the system will invite the nearby player to join your team automatically. If there is no team, you can also click " Join" to join the teams that have been created actively.

XP system is a very important system. Only when you have mastered and used it flexibly, can you conquer the world of "Crazy Tao".

XP system is a complete new game system developed from the rage points of wrestle game. Your XP value will be added whenever you are in combat, in peace or even just stay in city. There is a long orange increasing bar above the tool box, it's the so-called XP bar. When XP bar is full, there is a glorious scene appear in the screen to remind you to enter XP time. And at the same time, icons of the XP skills that you have already learned will appear in the down right corner of the screen for you to choose from. During the time for your option, there is a shortening flame in the XP bar, when the flame disappears, if you still haven't make the option, the XP value will become 0 and be added again.

When your XP bar is full, choose one XP icon to enter XP time. Right click to activate the XP skill. XP skill will not consume your MP or HP, you can use it freely during the XP time. There are all kinds of XP skills, many of them are very powerful, you can kill redname or even blackname monsters easily and get lots of experience and valuable items. There is a unique way of leveling in "Crazy Tao ": first find a safe place in the redname or blackname monster area, when XP is ready, you can slay the monsters with ease. It's full of excitement and at the same time you can uplevel very fast.

Strongly Recommended: the powerful pet system

The pet system is supplemented with XP system, which you should both do a deeper research. The pets are very powerful, you can even entice the monsters and then leave it all to your pets. Especially after converging with your pets, your attack and defence will both increase greatly.

Except the two eggs you got when you first login, there are two main sources of pets: you can buy eggs from the pet shepherd in ChangAn. You can also pick them up from the monsters you killed.

When you pick up the egg, it will appear in the pet's bag in the down right corner of the pet's interface. There are two ways to hatch your egg: one is to put it in your hatcher, the pet baby will be born after one hour, provided you are online during the hour. The other way is to ask the pet shepherd to hatch the egg for you, after 12 hours you can go to pick up the pet baby, no matter you are online or not.

When your pet dies in battle, it will become a white soul and follows you. Then it will not be injured nor participate in battle. It will take the soul balls from the monsters you killed. When its life bar is full, it can revive.

When your pet reaches level 20, the system will give you a notice to evolve it. You can also click the button of "Evolve" in the pet's interface to evolve it. You have to summon it or dismiss it if it's converging with you. After the evolvement, you can see its rank in the pet's status, for example, superior, silver, gold...

When your pet reaches level 40, you can go to the composing oven (the upper right direction of the portal) in the market for the second evolvement. Click the composing oven and then click the name of the pet, when the cursor becomes an egg icon, click the composing oven to complete the second evolvement.

Pet's evolvement is only a small part of pet's growth, while the composing of pet is the real climax. You can improve your pet's qualities by main attribute composing, sub-attribute quality composing, and original attribute composing. Related Link: the Pet system

Upleveling

3. PK

The Secrets of PK System

There are four kinds of PK mode in "Crazy Tao " . You can change your current PK mode by clicking the button besides your portrait in the upper left corner. Under the most exciting "Free PK mode", you can attack any monsters and players as you wish. But we recommend you don't choose this mode easily. Because especially in cities, if you click other players carelessly, you may be killed by the guard in a second if he finds that. Then your items and money will drop from your inventory. But if you are in the peace mode, other players can still attack you. The only absolutely safe place is in the market, beside it you may be killed even in the city. 4.Sociality and Entertainment

Chatting and Friends

The chatting system of "Crazy Tao " is very user-friendly. Click the button on the left of the chatting window to shift your current chatting channels. You can also press Ctrl+ up/down to shift. If you want to whisper to your friends, you have to input his/her name. For those names that can't be input easily, the system provides several ways for you to choose from: if the player you want to whisper is in the same screen, you can press Shift and click him/her, his/her name will appear in the place of whisper target. For those who have talked to you, you can press Alt and click the words he/she has said. You can also press Ctrl and left and right to choose from the names of players that have talked to you recently. The most convenient way is to add him/her to your Friends' list, then you can whisper to him/her only by double clicking his/her name. If he/she doesn't agree to be added as your friend, you can copy his/her name in a text, then copy his/her name whenever you want to whisper to him/her. Besides you can use the function of copy when you talk to others, which makes your talking with others more convenient.

You can add the name of close friends into your Friends' List after his/her agreement. Then his/her name will appear in your Friends' List, you can check his/her status such as level and profession now and then. You can also whisper to him/her by double clicking his/her name. What's more convenient, he/she will be marked as a star on the map from then on, you can find him/her easily.

Trade

"Crazy Tao " supports trades between two players and booths in the market. You can find the teleporter in the city to send you to the market. Except the many booths there you can also find the Identification, GemSocket and Artisan there. If you want to leave the market, return to the portal. It's easy to start a booth, find a booth and click the flag beside it to bring up a frame, place the items in the frame and input the price. If you want to close your booth, click the button of "Close" in the down right corner. You can also input your advertisement in the booth setting frame, which will appear automatically every some time.
