In Crazy Tao, there are a lot of things that can be compared or defined as strong or weak: A's pet has already been 10-star, B has already reached level 100. But, comparing A and B, who is stronger?
In Crazy Tao, there is a simple way to solve this comparing problem: POTENCY. No matter in which way, equipment, level, pets...In real time battle, PK, everything is counted as potency. How to count the potency? According to the following, your potency is counted as A+B+C+D+E+F+G.
A. Basic potency.
This means your level. If you are level 50, so your basic potency A=50. If you are level 78, then your basic potency A=78.
B. Summoned Pets' Quality.
This means the total star of the pets you summoned/converged. For example, if you only summon a 3-star pet, so your B=3. If you summon a 2-star pet and another 5-star, so your B=2+5=7.
C. Equipment.
It's counted separately by your equipment.
For example:
Common equipment will not add any extra points of potency.
Refined equipment will add 1 extra point of potency.
Unique equipment will add 2.
Elite equipment will add 3.
Super equipment will add 4.
And once when you equipped the gears that suit your level most, you would get extra one points of potency.
Say you have one super and five elite pieces of equipment, you can get +4 extra points of potency (super equipment) and 5*3 extra points of potency (elite equipment), altogether 19 extra points of potency.
D. Bonus Forge. This is counted as the lowest bonus forged for your equipment. For example, if all of your equipment are above +1, which means your helmet, armor, bracelet, shoe, weapon are all +1 above, but one equipment is +1 only, so your D=1. If all of your equipment are +5 above, then your D=5.
E. Sockets.
This is counted as how many sockets there are in your equipments. For example, if your weapon has two sockets, and your armor has 1 socket, then your E=2+1=3.
F. Gems.
This is counted as the gems you socketed into your equipment. If you socketed a gem called Normal Ruby, then your F=1.(Read Details here.)
G. Legion Totems The totem potency is calculated on the potency of the top 5 pets on a totem, and the legion potency is the sum of the top 8 totem potency. You can be rewarded with legion potency according to your position in your legion.
H. Pet's Special Talent: Potency Talent is a special ability of the pets. Pets have a chance to gain Talent Vacancy during the process of composing. When this happens, they will have a chance to obtain Pet Talents during the process of evolving.
There are 3 types of Pet Potency: Potency+1, Potency+2 and Potency+3. When you summon or converge with your Potency-talented pets, you will receive the same bonus potency from your pets. (Details.)
