Monster with Stars

There are four new Adventure Zones opened in DunHuang, where you may face new challenges: LifeOasis (lvl 35), SunsetPond (lvl 40), MountRing (lvl 45) and CescentSpring (lvl 50).

If you are strong enough, you can visit Teleporter Helen (DunHuang 611,1043) to enter these zones by paying 10 thousand gold.

New enemies--monsters with stars have appeared there. Though there are no difference in the shape, their strength has been increased a lot. So don't judge them by the traditional view of level.
We suggest you to review the Potency System before heading for these Adventure Zones.
Potency consists of two parts: basic potency and extra potency. Basic potency equals your level. While your extra potency is calculated by the pets you summoned and your equipment. If your extra potency is lower than the monster's stars, even if you are in a higher level, you will be killed easily.

Three ways the monster*--star may affect you:

1. Your attack
If your extra potency is higher than the monsters' stars, your attack will be normal. But if your extra potency equals or is lower than the monsters' stars, your attack will be much LOWER:

When Monster's Star - your extra potency=1, Your attack will be 10% of your normal one.

When Monster's Star - your extra potency=2, Your attack will be 9% of your normal one.

When Monster's Star - your extra potency=3, Your attack will be 8% of your normal one.

When Monster's Star - your extra potency=4, Your attack will be 7% of your normal one.

When Monster's Star - your extra potency=5, Your attack will be 6% of your normal one.

When Monster's Star - your extra potency=6, Your attack will be 5% of your normal one.

When Monster's Star - your extra potency=7, Your attack will be 4% of your normal one.

When Monster's Star - your extra potency=8, Your attack will be 3% of your normal one.

When Monster's Star - your extra potency=9, Your attack will be 2% of your normal one.

When Monster's Star - your extra potency>=10, Your attack will be 1% of your normal one.

2. Monster*-Star's attack for you

If your extra potency is lower than the monster's stars, even if your defence is very high, the monster may kill you in a second.
On the contrary, If your extra potency is higher, the monster's attack will be weaker on you. The higher your potency is, the less injury the monster can make on you.

3. The experience you can get from killing monsters with stars

Compared with other monsters in game, combating monster*-stars is a greater challenge, which will bring you more experience.

When Monster's stars - your extra potency>=5, it will have a red name;

0<=Monster's Stars - your extra potency<5, it will have a blue name;

Monster's Stars - your extra potency<0, it will have a green name.
